Who can use Four Bands' services?
Four Bands' offers a variety of services related to entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Some of the services are aimed at youth, most are aimed at adults. Our services area is anywhere on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation.
What do I need to do to access Four Bands' services or loan products?
It is best to call Four Bands and talk with one of the staff. You'll be asked to come to our office, complete an customer information form, and talk with staff about how we can assist you. You can also download and print a customer information form here. Complete the form and bring it or mail it to the Four Bands office. Our staff can also talk with you by phone.
How much do services cost?
Four Bands is able to offer most services at no charge to customers. Some of our classes, events, and services will have registration or application fees-for example, we charge $25 to process a loan application.
Who can apply for loan products from Four Bands?
Four Bands' target market for loan products are enrolled members of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and permanent residents of the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation-must be residents for at least one year-who own or plan to start businesses located on the Reservation
What can I use loan proceeds for and how much can I get?
Loan funds are only available for private business development. Examples of eligible uses include working capital, purchase of land or buildings, construction of buildings, leasehold improvements, vehicle purchase, purchase of inventory and equipment, purchase of an existing business, and refinancing of high-interest debt.
Do I have to have collateral to get a loan?
Yes. All loans must be secured with collateral. Assets purchased from the loan proceeds can be used as collateral. Four Bands staff will help identify what you have that can be used for collateral.
