Four Bands Expands Offices Across Reservation

October 17, 2025

Four Bands Community Fund is currently building a 2,500 square foot addition at our headquarters location on Main Street in Eagle Butte. The addition will house eight new offices and two new meeting spaces, which will accommodate current operations within the organization as well as future growth.

“This is an exciting development for Four Bands! Even though our building is relatively new, our staff and programming has expanded over the past five years. This addition is an important part of our growth strategy,” says Lakota Vogel, Executive Director of Four Bands.

We have contracted with Diamond D Construction, a local, Native-owned firm, for the construction of the addition. Diamond D has been working with us to incorporate several green building standards and “smart” technology features into the new space. The addition is scheduled to be complete in April 2026.

In addition to expanding our headquarters location in Eagle Butte, we have also established three satellite locations – in Timber Lake, Dupree, and Faith – to more efficiently deliver programs throughout the Cheyenne River Reservation. Staff at these locations are able to meet with community members by appointment.

“We understand the challenges that come with living a rural area. It’s not always easy for people to get to our Eagle Butte office. With these new office spaces, we hope to make our programs more accessible to a greater number of community members,” says Vogel.
