Tori Chasing Hawk, Loan Officer at Four Bands, works primarily with our credit builder and home renovation clients. She is responsible for delivering our Financial Empowerment Coaching program where she supports clients in setting financial goals and establishing personal budgets. She assists clients in compiling all necessary materials for their loan application and ensures a successful borrowing process by thoroughly reviewing their credit history and working with them to identify any potential challenges and formulating solutions. Through this process Tori determines applicants’ level of affordability and continues to work with them through the lending process and up to 24 months after loan disbursement. In addition, she plays an active role in the collections process, corresponding with clients, filing legal documents, and working with the Tribal Court and other jurisdictions.

Tori facilitates our Financial Peace University, a group training held several times each year that teaches participants how to dump debt and build wealth. She has completed several trainings and certification programs, including: Credit as an Asset by Credit Builders Alliance; Financial Trauma by The Center for Financial Social Work; Financial Coaching by Oklahoma Native Assets Coalition; Building Native Communities, Financial Skills for Families by Oweesta; and Building Native Communities, Financial Empowerment for Teens & Young Adults by Oweesta. She has also completed her USDA 502 Certified Loan Application Packager training.

Tori brings several years of experience in the financial sector to Four Bands. Her previous positions include Personal Financial Associate, Member Service Representative, and Teller. Tori graduated from Cheyenne Eagle Butte High School and is a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.
