Four Bands Community Fund will be offering our annual free tax preparation services from February 1st through April 15th. To keep staff and community members safe during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, these services will be offered through a drop-off system this year. All tax returns will be prepared by IRS-certified tax preparers and be completed within three days of submitting all required forms and documentation.
Because the IRS has announced they are expecting delays in processing paper refunds this year, Four Bands is strongly encouraging all taxpayers to open a checking or savings account before they file their taxes. This will allow tax refunds to be deposited directly into a bank account and taxpayers to access their refunds up to seven weeks earlier than if they had requested a paper refund check.
